REPUTABLE BREEDER, RESCUE, OR SANCTUARY
WHATS IS THAT?
There are web site's and people out there that say ...... NEVER EVER adopt a puppy from someone who claims to be a "Reputable Rescue or Breeder" and who is willing to ship the dog without first meeting you. If someone is willing to put their puppies in a home with anyone who has the right amount of money then they are NOT Reputable.
In our experience, you can not tell to much by meeting and talking to people either. Now if they do or say anything that sends up my red flags, we will NOT adopt them a dog, and have done so, more than once. Also the amount of money or the lack of it does not make a bad or good owner. I have had bad owners of each type and they can come across as the best type of dog owner out there, then come to find out they are the kind of owner we fear. People can and do lie to get what they want. So we pray (yes really) pray that we are doing all we can to ensure that our babies go to the right homes.
Also, if you have children this does not automatically make you unfit to own a small pup. I believe that most adults know that a 2 lb baby can be steped on, dropped, or hugged to death and would never leave young children alone with a pup that small. I'm not your baby sitter, you are an adult and we are going to leave it up to you. BUT note that small pups are NOT FOR YOUNG CHILDREN. There is No way you can keep watch over a small pup and a small child 100% of the time. A 2 1/2 lb to 3 1/2 lb. grown dog is NOT a pet for a 3- 6 year old child. Now we do like to know what kind of home our babies are going to. So please, when making out you application tell me a little about yourself and family and experience with owning a dog. First time dog owner are OK. We have a lot of information that can help you along. We are also here 24 hours a day 365 days a year to answer your questions. If we do not have the answer we will contact our Veterinarian or whom ever we need to and get the answer for you.
WE ARE MORE THEN HAPPY TO GIVE YOU OUR REFERENCES ALONG WITH THEIR CONTACT INFORMATION. WE HAVE BEEN HELPING ANIMALS FOR MANY YEARS AND ARE VERY PROUD OF OUR REPUTATION.
